Katrine Storebø X Lilly's Lightbox Company
Since November 2025 I have been collaborating with the fantastically gifted Katrine Storebo, a fine artist from Norway who, after earlier years in London, now also calls Tunbridge Wells her home. Having admired her work for years - her skilled observations of society, her shared love for the elegance and glamour of the 1920 - 1950 and her captivating play with colour - I am delighted to offer a selection of her works, illuminated by our lightboxes which have always aimed to be a window into the past, as if we travel back into the last century to glance at a version of our society or perhaps even a previous life of ourselves.

About Katrine Storebo
Katrine Storebø is a Norwegian painter who's portraits capture snapshots from social settings and nightlife scenes. Inspired by subtle intrigue, camaraderie, and the dynamics between people.
Katrine's paintings celebrate an old and decadent time with a dash of 1980's glamour. Katrine created the film poster of Touche based on a selection of photographs and stills from the documentary.

Touché
Nathalie Moellhausen is a strikingly beautiful, ambitious Italian fencing champion determined to win gold at the Olympics. Trained by her father to overachieve from childhood, Nathalie struggles with failure as the pressures of family and social expectations implode. Touché is a haunting tale of a desire for fame that becomes a driving force and yet threatens to extinguish self-realisation.
Martina Moor is a filmmaker and film editor who works mainly on documentary films, video installations, and experimental films. Her first feature length documentary is Touche (2023), selected at the Thessaloniki IDFF.
The first lightbox will go on sale at SoLastCentury on 1st March 2026 at Goldsmith University.
